Based in Kochi, Kerala, the channel is part of Asianet Communications Limited, and is owned by STAR India.It was launched as a youth oriented channel which telecasts fiction, non fiction, songs, game shows etc later re-branded as a General entertainment channel.In the year 2018 the channel was converted to a 24 hour movie channel.
