Sony Yay is an Indian television channel aimed at children, operated by Sony Pictures Networks India Pvt. Ltd. The channel was launched on 18 April 2017 replacing Animax. Following the rebrand, Sony Pictures Networks announced their plans to migrate all anime programming featured in Animax as paid content to its digital platform Sony LIV.
