MVtv is a non-profit Islamic TV channel established with the kind contribution and assistance of well-wishers by the Islamic Foundation of the Maldives under a Waqf endowment. It is managed and operated for the Islamic Foundation of the Maldives by Media Foundation Pvt. Ltd., which holds the responsibility of accountability and reporting to the Broadcasting Commission of the Maldives in accordance with Maldivian laws.
